*Donations and Volunteers Needed*

Each year, along with over 2000 others, CEU members and their families volunteer and donate to the BC Fed’s Annual Labour Community Holiday Event. This annual community event is an important contribution to those in need in the Vancouver area and hopefully helps to bring some holiday cheer to those less fortunate than us.

If you can help please contact ac.defcbobfsctd@ae-defcb with the subject line “holiday hamper program”, and provide your name and contact details so the event organizers can reach you.

The following donations are needed:

• Unwrapped toys and gifts for children aged 0-18
• Non-perishable food items
• Gift cards and passes (movie passes, local attraction passes, etc.)

Financial contributions are also critical to the success of this annual event. Many families count on us being there. That is why we’re making this special request for your generous financial donation. Together we can provide an important community service and celebrate the spirit of giving this holiday.

Event Location – Maritime Labour Centre, 1880 Triumph St., Vancouver 
Event date / time – Friday December 23rd, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm

December 20th, 9:00am – unloading trucks with food and toys

December 21st, 9:00am – filling hampers, setting up the hall

December 22nd, 9:00am – filling hampers, sorting toys

December 23rd, 4:00pm – for event – various positions available.
